ANESTHETIC PROCEDURES

If your pet is scheduled for surgery, dentistry or other procedures requiring sedation or anesthesia it is important to take away all solid food from 10:00pm the night before (but leave water down) and have your pet at the clinic between 7:30 and 8:00am the morning of the procedure.

If your pet has special dietary needs, please bring a small amount of his/her food so that they may be fed as soon as they are adequately recovered from the procedures.

If you wish to bring a small  blanket, toy, or t-shirt with your scent, we will be sure it is put in with your pet to make them feel more secure.

Most pets undergoing elective procedures (except declawing ) will be able to go home anytime after 4:00 pm the day of their procedure. If this is not appropriate for your pet's needs we will inform you when we call to let you know your pet is recovering  from his/her procedure.

Please be sure to leave a telephone number, so that we can keep you informed as to your pet's condition.

BOARDING

We will accept and release scheduled boarders anytime during regular office hours. Please be sure to fill out the boarding form completely so we will know how to make your pet's stay as comfortable and fun as possible.

If your pet is on a special diet, please bring an adequate amount for their stay. We feed Science Diet for boarding pets unless otherwise instructed.

Please list the name and phone number for an emergency contact, as well as any contact numbers for you while we are caring for your pet.

If you bring toys, blankets, beds, dishes or other "pet stuff" please be sure to list the items on the boarding form and, if possible, put the pet's name on the container or item.
