THE VETERINARIAN
Dr. Roxanne K. Levinson is a native of Smyrna, Georgia and was educated in Cobb county public schools. She attended Georgia State University and University Of Georgia where she was awarded the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 1983. She owned and operated ARKLE Veterinary Care as a House Call practice until 2000, when she converted Companion Animal Hospital into what you know now as ARKLE Veterinary Care.
Dr. Levinson is currently "owned" by one cat, named Capone. When not catering to his every whim, she enjoys reading, cooking and bowling. She may be contacted at arklevetcare@bellsouth.net.
Dr. Levinson is a Member Practitioner of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and a member of American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Cornel Feline Health Center, Georgia Veterinary Medical Association (GVMA), Greater Atlanta Veterinary Medical Association (GAVMA), and is a Past-President of the Cobb County Veterinary Medical Society (CCVMS).
THE STAFF
Debbie Goodspeed is ARKLE's Office Manager. She is the person that keeps our practice running smoothly. Her responsibilites include work schedules, inventory and ordering, collections and reception. Abe Levinson is the head vet assistant at ARKLE. He has been assisting Dr. Levinson care for pets since 1994. His outside interests include all things having to do with movies, Star Trek and computers. He can be reached at abe_levinson@bellsouth.net
April Cawthon is a vet assistant. She joined the ARKLE family July, 2006, with over 12 years of experience. Her pets include 4 dogs, 5 cats and numerous horses. April enjoys cooking, fishing and spending time with her family. She can be reached at mygrits721@aol.com
Kenny Etchison is our newest vet assistant. He has enjoyed a wide variety of work experiences in the non-veterinary world as well as including general and specialist veterinary practices in the past. He has concluded that working with animals is more personally rewarding than any other job he has had. He shares his home with his best running buddy, Rocker, an older dog. Kenny enjoys martial arts in his spare time.
